I searched and didn't find a very recent thread on this-Any recommendations on a nice trickle charger?

Thanks.

I don't use one. I disconnect and then charge in the spring.....
Actually, for the past few years, I don't even disconnect. The key-off loads are about zero, just the clock (which stop working after a month or so).

Best charger I have ever had. Hook it up in September. Keeps the battery at 13.9v until May. Unhook it and go. 9 years old, still works great.

I suggest going solar, inexpensive, lot of them have desulfator capabilities, low voltage with sensing capabilities to keep from overcharging.

Bought mine from Northern a long time ago, you can use it on multiple vehicles with a larger unit. I actually keep it inside my garage in a southern facing window, no weather worries.
