Wonder why someone would remove the front RS? Maybe a wreck and a junkyard clip?

It is not an RS, it is not on the Trim Tag.

According to Trim Tag it was solid color car.  Didn't come from factory with the White vinyl roof.

Tag looks reasonable and says it's an SS.

Yeah thats my bad..  I fat fingered the phone when I was replying and didnt proof read...  Still not 100% on the tag but Kurt trumps me..

Thanks to you all for your opinions.  I didn't catch that it shouldn't have white headliner and sail panels with a parchment interior, or a white vinyl top per trim tag.  I still wonder why it has RS taillights.  I love the Royal Plum color with the white interior though.  I think I am going to pass on this car as I have 3 others I am looking at that I found on Hemmings, where they appear to be more original with Protect-o-Plates and known background.  Their Hemmings ad numbers are 1845018 in Boise, Idaho; 1843691 in Sioux City, Iowa; and 1748716 in St. Charles, Missouri if any of you guys want to look them up.  I would greatly appreciate any feedback you can give me on any of these 3 and if you can upload the ads onto our message board like ko-lec-tor did.  I am just looking for a complete driver (no projects), as original as possible, that I can take to our local car gatherings.  Please let me know if any of you live close enough to any of these car locations where you would be willing to go look at them for me.  I would be more than happy to reimburse you for your trouble and effort.  Thanks again.

Honestly out of all of them the 67 is the nicest one IMHO.  Island teal is a cool car but the stripe and interior would bug the shit out of me..  LeMans blue 68 looks nice but why not show more pics..  Makes me think they are hiding something..  Might just be me being paranoid.

So in order

1. 67
2. 68 LeMans - if everything looked ok in person
3. 68 Island teal.

Thank you Darrell for loading the ads onto our forum and for your opinions.

They are all nice cars, but I think they are all over priced. My friend just sold his 67 SS/RS automatic AC car for 34k. I think a realistic price for these cars would be more like 28k range. The island teal the stripe looks to fat to me. I am guessing it is suppose to look like Darrells green car stripe?
