This first tidbit says Donohue had the championship locked up prior to Bryar but Camaro still
needed three points so mathematically Javelin and Mustang were still in the running.

Watkins Glen received many upgrades and revisions for the '68 season. Better pit facilities and a little bit of alteration to the shape of the track.
Maybe best of all, Cam Argetsinger found a little Chevreligion.  ;D

Craig Fisher's Firebird was really beginning to do well by Continental Divide. It posted a very impressive 2nd place overall there. Former
Penske mechanic Tom Greatorex was brought to Montreal by Terry Godsall to keep this ex-Penske Camaro in competitive shape.






Jerry Titus served notice that he was leaving the Ford team after the next race at Riverside to build and run Firebirds for Godsall beginning at Kent, WA.
