Norwood built cars [N VIN] rarely have hidden paperwork. Fisher built and trimmed the bodies long before the sheets were printed at final assembly so no need to dismantle the interior.

That's true for 69. 67 and 68 from either plant rarely had the broadcast sheet.

What do you make of this '68 Z on eBay with Body Broadcast Copy (last image in the listing)?   Any idea how they how/where able to acquire it?  It's appears to be in excellent shape.

A few years ago there was a Q & A session at MCACN with retired Norwood workers. They stated that 'de-papering' the unit was one of the tasks at the end of assembly. They appear to have done a fine job as BBCs and CBCs are rarely found in Norwood cars. However, at 57 cars per hour they were sometimes overlooked. A close friend had a Chevrolet dealership for many years and said they were sometimes found during new car prep. Usually discarded but not always; both sheets were left in ZL1s #1 & #2 and still exist.

That's why surviving Norwood Broadcast Copies are in excellent condition-they were found in the car and retained.

BTW workers called them 'sequence sheets'.

If they were in the car, many dealers would take the broadcast sheets and put them in the new car folder. Sometimes they would get to the customer, sometimes they would stay in the dealer's files.
