What are the two bolts in the center of the trunk floor for?

That is the trailer hitch that bolts to the bumper and then has a bar that goes under the gas tank and bolts to the floor of the trunk.  I still have the hitch too..

Thanks.  I'm actually been through a camera & 2 phones now..  Just had to get a new iPhone 6s the other day..  The old ones memory was completely full..  😁
