General Discussion / Re: 4P L30/M20

I have a very complete one that will be going up for sale in the spring. I hope there is demand for an original. It has been redone somewhere along it's life, but many years ago.

You may want to try some local shops that carry rebuilt carbs. I was lucky a few years ago that a shop in Indy had the carb I needed for a 1967 327. And the numbers on it matched what was called for. They were thrilled I called, bench tested it and sold it for under 200 bucks. It works like a charm.

How the heck do I print the article. I work for a Penske Dealership and I am sure others around here would like to see it. Maybe I can even get the General to autograph it for me.

Thanks,

Well Captain John I guess you are happy today. I am not because I live in Indy and am a Colts fan.

What would you say was the main reason for the record time and MPH after all these years?

Great job,

Also be carful if you have the fender loose and open the passenger door...It can rub the fender and do the unthinkable to the paint. Don't ask how I know this. And yes get the core tested and built up a bit.

Can you send a picture of the id plate?

Like the safety and ability to return to stock. I do favor originality. But if your car is a driver I give thumbs up.
