Have located a 15 stamped into one of the blades. Never noticed till today. What is it?

The CLUTCH is dated November 2nd, 1967 so if the fan and clutch are original to each other, 15 wouldn't be a "week built" code. Perhaps an inspectors stamp?

John may have more info on fans so hopefully he'll chime in. Or maybe Jerry or one of the other guys.

The interesting thing is that the stamp happens to be on the same blade that the W is stamped on the center section of that blade.  My gut feeling is that this was done purposely. Like your suggesting , inspector stamp. After fan assembled and torqued.  Wouldn't be for 15 foot lbs?

It's some sort of in-process inspection stamp from the fan manufacturer; nothing was stamped at the assembly plant where the fan was assembled to the clutch.
