67 vinal top ?

Hello, my question is this, the vinal top retaining strips (plastic strips that get pushed into the rain gutter to hold in the edges of the vinal top in and get clipped in by the rain gutter moulding  )
Did they come in clear only or did the black tops get black ones ? I have only seen clear one for sale on E-bay but I seem to remember my car having black ones .is there a source for them now ? seems most vinal top installers in my area dont seem to know much about them and dont use them now.

I don't think they were black. All the nos ones are kinda clear. In a few years on the cars they were white and brittle

I've seen the black ones, in the same package & part number as the clear/chrome ones at swap meets...Thought they were different application, maybe Firebird?  No idea why they had the same part number though.  My 68 black vinyl top had the clear/chrome.  If you search gutter you should find a thread where I put up some pic's-if not let me know & I'll put up a link.
