Attached is the original bill of sale for my late father's 69 Z28. I have more of the original documents as well.

Neat documentation! Do you still own the 1969 Z28?

Very cool. I remember my first new car payment was 36 months @ $62. Those were the days!
Surprising that there wasn't a big discount considering it was a June 69 built car that apparently went unsold for eight months, and the 70 model was finally out.

He has the protect-o-plate & other cool items from this car. Maybe he'll post pictures of them. He was on fb with them.....Joe

Depends on the build date. Not a '69 expert but I thought the 69 run into 1970 because the new '70 was released mid year.

I'm assuming this car is not in the database?

The traditional 1969 model year production ended at Norwood on July 11, 1969. Indications are Chevrolet knew by that time production would have to be extended indefinitely due to the failure of the 1970 Camaro quarter panel tooling. 1969 Camaro production resumed on August 11, 1969; the order confirmation numbering sequence [aka body number] was reset to 100001. The last '69 was built the 1st week of November 1969.

I'm sure many of the extended production cars remained in dealer inventory into 1970 but they were titled as 1969 vehicles. The 1970 Camaro intro date was February 26, 1970. They were never referred to as '1970½'.

It actually didn't sit on the lot. He bought it the day it was delivered to the dealership. Not sure why the delay in it arriving.
