heater box/dash paint/re-install procedure??.. aftermarket insulation any good?

what color should the heater box be on a 69? its a bit glossier than the firewall isnt it? is the aftermarket interior heater box/ firewall insulation the way to go when reassembling the dash area...is there any tips that might help...I am assembling a basket case, so i did not take it apart...a bit harder I guess...

More gloss than the firewall. 70%gloss where as the firewall is 30% gloss (semi-gloss). I like Seymour Paints. Call Branden Enterprises at (215)327-4926. He will help you out. Don't think you have much choice on the repro insulation for the dash and firewall.
