68 A/C hose sleeves

Hello all, does anyone have a good alternative to the original sleeves on the A/C hoses? C60D4 #6, #12...#3873930 & #542944 are long since discontinued. I'd like to find something other than copper tubing wrap from a hardware store. Searched this site, and others, along with Old Air Products. Any suggestions? Also, were ribbed hoses used before 69? Thanks, trying to finish off the A/C system restoration.   10A 68,L35-TH400, with factory AC. thanks

Calling X66 714 "JOE", I think He went thru this very recently and found some good alternative commercially available.

I used GM pn 15190971. I got several from e-bay. They are a really good match. I used some Dawn dish soap to help with the instalation. As for the ribbed hoses, I don't think they're correct but I've only restored this car that has a/c....Joe
