Headlight Mounting bracket date stamp?

Here is what I have. I believe the top one is a service replacement from an accident in the past. Also the bucket for this bracket is painted black instead of anodized.
The lower one has an anodized bulb bucket and the letter F stamped in the sequence of the mounting bracket. Is the F a date stamp for May? The car is a Norwood 6D

No...the "F" stamp is for  F body (camaro)

I think the H68 is the date stamp....?
