68RS Pinchweld Clips

Can someone advise what the original finish is supposed to be for these clips?

Maybe I would call them something different but what are pinch weld clips?  What part of the car are you referring to?  Rocker panels come to mind first for me.

Sorry, should have been a little more detailed.  Was wondering what to use to refinish the Clips that hold the stainless trim that goes around around the rear deck on a 68 RS convertible. This trim I'm referring to what the top boot attaches to when the top is down.  Sorry, don't know what to call it.
