Could this PVC and hose with the 2 black pinch clamps be the originals ?  I understand that the PVC could of always been changed for a replacement but what about the hose ?  There's 3 ridge like lines down the hose with no other markings.  Was this a common GM type hose or did they usually have a p/n printed on them ?

Thanks
Darrell

based on the other survivor thread, I would say that is the original, with the original clamps. Great find, I think I may need one!

Original Winters Intake and Carb.  A tad dirty I'd say   ;D   Anyone have an idea to why there's a "Q" stamped on the Intake (last pic) ?  I've seen other Intakes without.

That's interesting.  So would it be safe to say that not all Intakes received this "inspection" stamp since I've seen some without ? And if that's the case then were they stamped periodically just for quality control every so often ?

Hey Darrell,

Thank you for posting all the detail pictures of your Z/28. Could I request some more?

I am pretty sure your PCV, hose, and clamps are original. I would like to see the PCV valve to see what if any markings are on it. Also the choke vacuum pull off front and back, and the heads of the coil mounting and distributor clamp bolts.

I am kind of partial to the paint code too.

Hey Mike, by your username I'm guessing you are playing a favorite  ;)   May I ask, do you have a Dusk Z ?   and yeah n.p. on the request.  I'm currently at work today (work 24 hrs as a Firefighter) and won't be home until tomorrow morning.  Funny you should ask because after I posted the intake pics I noticed the bolts and also thought of checking the heads out.  Check back tomorrow and I'll see if I can't have all yours answers with pics.

Thanks Bentley,  yeah I'm very happy.  Other than the 2 components I had mentioned earlier,  I think I just about hit every nail on the head.
