Needing some input on best type of media blasting to perform. Also, any suggestions on who can do it around Columbus, Ohio. Thank- you!

I do not what is best but I have some hints. If anything such as dash, instruments, wiring, ect are left on the car the media will find it. Remove it all first or you will have to do it later and clean it. Plus after you blow it with compressed air, vacuum it 4 times. still wear goggles when you drive it for a while and be prepared to get it out of your ears ,nose and teeth. And by the way spraying with water 5 times will not help.

Soda blasting is good for items that are fragile or easily eroded. Hope this helps.

For smaller steel parts and some aluminuim ,glass bead media works well without removing base material. However it gets into every nook and cranny.Never add water as it really sticks then.Machine shops and some body shops may have glass bead cabinets.
Large parts can be sandblasted using fine grit sand, ground slag(black beauty). On thinner parts one has to be carefull that nozzle isnt too close or too great a air pressure used as it will peen and warp sheetmetal.
