This is my second 69 Z,  I bought in 2000. I call it my unrestored car and not survivor because it has been repainted...several times...and has many missing pieces and some added pieces. Unfortunately, it will stay unrestored because I really don't have the means to put $100,000 in it.  :(

Hey Cook , I want to come play at your house... 8) Do you restore cars for a living?

Come on over..!!..  Lol. I wish I could full time but at this point I'm just trying to finish my projects.  Maybe one of these days I'll be able to make it a full time profession.

Here it is 1973, paid $1700. for it. My wife said she married me for that car and would not let me sell it. My niece and nephew now have young adults of their own. You really know how to make somebody feel old.

I got my '68 in May of 1983 and have owned it since. I got a '68 for graduation in 1975, totalled it in 1980, and just had to have another one. I've gone through a couple of paint jobs, a lot of engines and transmissions, then let it sit outside, which is the worst thing you can do. A few years ago I took it completely apart to do a frame-up and fix everything that was worn, broke or rusted. It's now completely restored except for the paint job, which will be done this spring. It's time to drive that sucker again. Long live the 1st-Gens.

I have actually owned my Camaro since Sept. of '91.  I voted on poll from that date.  I originally bought the car for my son for his 16 th. Birthday Nov. 16 - '86.  Attached is a pic. of the car as I got it from him some body work was done, most of it had to be redone.  The engine in it at that time (a built 350) was junk.  Most of you have seen the car in different stages, and my profile pic. is as it is today.  Many thanks to much info. and input from this forum.

Beautiful color

Thanks!  I love it too; it really pops with the white, custom (with headrests) interior.
