Hey guys,

I want to buy a book on number matching for Camaros.  Which one is better?  I think I have my decision down to either the Camaro Big Book of Data by John R. Hooper or Colvins By the Numbers.  Which would have the best info to rely on?  Or, is there anther one out there that would be a better source?

Thanks,

Steve

Hooper's books are older and have many improperly restored photos in them.

Colvin's books are very good.  :)  Jerry MacNiesh puts out some very good books so have a look at his too.

I have most of the books, but I printed off alot of info from this site(and a couple others) and made a 3 ring binder.  It serves me the best!  I refer to it all the time.  I also ordered a free copy of some Camaro technical data from GM (a couple hundred pages) - it is also handy.  Jerry's books are also the ticket!

I also used some info form these links:

The Camaros.org numbers decoder is also a great tool.  Try it you'll like it!

Hope this helps................

There's some errors on that site. The CRG site is a better reference, IMO.
