I have been told that the nos window cranks are different from what was used on the assembly line in 69.Does anyone know what the difference would be???I do know there is a difference between deluxe and standard interior handles. Thanks

The older reproductions were bad. The rears did not have enough curvature to miss the stainless trim and the fronts did not stay on very well. The newer ones are very good. Not sure about deluxe vs standard.

Lemans Blue X33. DZ, M20, manual steering. Only BU code rear end is original.

Thanks but I am talking about the nos GM cranks.I have not received any responses so I am thinking maybe there is no difference and they are the same.

Not sure of the nos diff, but the deluxe shank is longer to get through the molded door panel.

I don't know a thing about 69 window cranks, but I do know that nos doesn't mean the same as what came on the car at the factory.  Could be the same, but it doesn't mean it is just because it's nos.

Yes and yes.  Deluxe cranks are different from standards, the curves of the handles are different from front standard, front Deluxe.  rears were the same, but different from the fronts. You have to look at them by casting number on the back. There was some good info on team camaro about casting numbers.  The new correct repros are good ( I bought the standards).  correct curve and they stay on the shaft (so far).  NOS ones could be service replacements or from a different car or year.  Go by the casting number!
