Did all 1969 Camaros with front spoilers have the 3 support rods?  My Z28 (had since 1982) has the spoiler, but no rods.  I will order and install them if all had them.  Thanks.

If there's no hole in the subframe for the rod, then most likely the car didn't have a spoiler when new or the subframe got changed....Joe

That was a very easy and popular mod for all first gen Camaro's. I'm sure there were more sold OTC than assembly line installed, and the center brace mostly got tossed I bet.

When was your Z built (month/year)?  Spoilers were standard after April 69? on Z28 models.  D80 on the data plate? My COPO was a non-spoiler car originally.  Front/rear spoilers added by 1971.  The guy that added them installed the spoiler support rods on the front so it had a hole in the front subframe.

The first Z/28s w/included D80 were final-assembled April 1st. No D80 on the tag until late May.

Mine is a 07A X77 D80 car.  It does have the hole in the subframe, just the front spoiler has no rods and not in great shape.  I'll order them and save this one as best I can.  Thank you all.

I've heard NOT to put rods in. They are good for creasing the fender,if anything hits the spoiler.
