I'm trying to decide if I should use the stock 7"X 15" YH wheels in front or 7"X 14" for my '69 Z in combination with the 8" X 15' AZ Vette wheels in the rear, I am doing a correct factory restoration but I don't plan on having it judged, just want to have fun on the way to car shows.
Any feedback is appreciated!

Any modification from factory correct restoration isn't factory correct. Only you can decide what you want...Joe

You'll have to watch the offsets with the Vette rims - my '68 was graced with a set of them when I got it, rubbed in a few places. I always liked the big and little approach to wheels and tires until I started the originality/restoration routine, so I replaced the Vettes with DF (correct) Rally wheels. Of course, originality comes with a price nowadays. Thank goodness all 5 of mine have a full sset of 5 correct rims.

Cutting it short, that's enitrely your choice. Restored means restored with OE parts, Day 2 is a modified. Day 2, do what you want. You can always change back to have the car judged -

Thanks for the feedback, and yes it's a 2 day deal where the things I'm changing are reversible. It's getting an original X-Ram, GM X-Ram hood and NOS T.I. ignition system(keeping it all original GM) what I was referring to was if I should use the original 15" Z-28 wheels or if I use 14" SS wheels will it have any adverse suspension issues ? since it would have 15" in back and 14" in front, issues like braking steering?

Are you going for the little/big look?
I'd run 15" on the front and just get smaller tires. Hard to find any tires in 14".

Amen. Wait till you have to find 6.95-14's (redlines) for your Nova SS, and then find a tire center that can handle a 14 X 5 steel rim without bending it, Hard to believe Chevrolet would use such a tiny rim on so light of a car with that much horsepressure. That's what I get for being an OE enthusiast -
