Hello,
i'd like to know your thoughts about this car:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270514742711&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Are there any issues regarding originality of the car? What i found is that the vehicle was repainted in "wrong" color. Any other obvious sacrilege?
To be honest i was looking for a Mopar (68-70 B or 70-71 E-Body), but if you set high value on originality they are unpayable here in Germany.
That's why i am gonna change my priorities...

It does not look very original. Lots of modifications - engine chrome, Z28 stripes, cloth(?) seats.
Still could be a nice driver, depends on what you want.

Add to that the Euro money conversion to US or CDN dollars and that is a whole lot of $$'s for just a 'regular' driver Camaro in my humble opinion...

thank you for your response.
On one hand i try to find an original, perfect shaped, first hand V8 Muscle. On the other hand i don't want to spend more than 30kEuros (appr.42k$). Currently i try to match these two facts...Not so easy.
Based on your comments, the e-bay vehicle does not match. But it's a good example to get more familiar with 1. Gen. Camaros. So i hope the community don't mind my rookie questions in the next future.

knillse,

Fire away. We all started by finding a good group to ask questions.

I agree that it is too much money for the condition it is in. You would certainly want to see the condition of the undercarriage.

Also, I am suspicious of the trim tag, (although I am not an expert). You might as k the seller for the Vin number.

Best of luck in your search.

Tag is fine. I have the VIN from some previous ad and it matches.
