Ho Everyone.. New to the  group I'm looking at a 67 rag top to buy and when i drive it i feel a small vibration when letting the clutch out, The seller tells me that he had a new one put in a week ago. Any idea what could be causing this?

Flywheel wasn’t cleaned well. Old throw out bearing or it was installed wrong. Pilot bearing needs to be changed. There are several possibilities.

Concentric and parallel bellbousing alignment. I have all the tools and shims to do the adjustment. Must do both for correct installation. Wrong bearing or a POS flywheel. Most who work on these cars do not do this everyday.

Bad drivers side motor mount.  Can't tell by just looking.  You need to unbolt it to check.  If it is bad it will be in 2 pieces.

Not enough free play in the clutch linkage.  Needs to be 1" of free pedal movement with finger pressure applied to the rubber pedal pad.  This adjustment will get tight as the clutch beds in.  You need to keep an eye on it until after break in.
