I have purchased a set of the 68/69 latex OER door weatherstripping, but unsatisfied with the fit.  Is the latex product offered by Heartbeat City identical to the OER (rebranded)?

I dont know about HBC, but Metro is by far the best door seals.  Just my opinion though.

Classic Industries is the vendor making the latex weather strips.  They are better than the Metro and Soft Seal but still not anywhere near the qualtiy of the GM W/S.  The big problem with M and SS is you have to slam your doors and deck lid to get these to compress.  Garbage!

We will never understand why someone can't make 100% correct W/striping with today's technology.  To think that material made 40 years ago is better that what can be made today is nuts.

I have had good luck using Metro door seals also, I like them over Soft seal. And yes they are still to stiff compared to GM.
Jerry is 100% correct, why is all this repop crap always a little off.

Thanks.  I'll try to make the OER latex I have work (I hear myself say that a lot about reproduction stuff).  It's nice to draw other's experience so I don't have to try one at a time to see which is the least of the worst.

So HB City does not have their own latex seals made? They buy the from Classic Ind.? I have been waiting for 2 months for HB City to get them in stock. >:(
