Doc, mine is not an 05A but an 07A car. My original starter motor, #8367 is dated 9F23 (June 23rd) for my July 10th built car. So just a couple of weeks ahead of the final assembly date.

My 1969 02A Norwood Car has a Starter Date 9A30 Jan 30 1969

My Z28 has an 05A build date.  The original starter date is 9E6.  According to the NCRS report, the production date on the car is 5/13/69.
