General Discussion / Re: Tire rub
April 10, 2023, 08:01:43 PM
Paint and everything,   is complete I have a set of 200S American mags the rears are 8.5  with a generous off set , wont.be breaking up the set . Just need to roll up the inside lip on the fender to gain a little clearance , I think the Fender Roller will do the trick, just wanted to see if anyone has used one , and how did it work out.

General Discussion / Tire rub

Just finishing up on the restoration of my 69 Z, I have a tire rub on the right rear side , also have wheels with  generous offset as well as oversized tires 235-60-15 . wanted to see if anyone has used a Eastwood Fender Roller tool or another brand, I just need to bend the lip up a small amount to gain some clearance. Like to hear the comments on your experience if you have used one of these tools.

General Discussion / 1969 exhaust system
July 12, 2022, 07:48:16 PM
Looking for good recommendation for a complete exhaust system for a 1969 z-28 camaro, was looking at the 89021 Thrush Turbo system, but a lot of negative comments on how it fits, any experience with this system. Or if you purchased an another brand and are pleased with it chime in, don't want to break the bank, thanks.

Restoration / Location of voltage regulator
February 24, 2022, 08:38:56 PM
Putting my 69 Z RS back together and having trouble locating the voltage reg on the radiator support. Have installed the horn relay, but cant find the three bolt holes for the regulator. Seems like it should be above and toward the middle from the horn relay, any help, a photo would be super. Thanks in advance.

Like to see if anyone has a photo of the power steering hose routing on a 69 z28, both around the motor mount and at the pump. Am having trouble finding the correct hose and will have to have one fabricated , thanks in advance.

General Discussion / Green lens on heater control
November 17, 2021, 04:08:04 PM
Was working on the heater control when a little green strip fell out , its about 2" long by 1/2" wide, and I can't see where it goes. I assume it gives a green tint to the control where the light are on. Where does it go and what keeps it in there. HELP.

General Discussion / kick panel
December 30, 2020, 10:45:37 AM
Looking at my kick panel the cotton pad glued to the back side , is that for noise or  thermal insulation? Was thinking of using some carpet padding as mine is in poor shape. Also has anyone replaced the gasket in the flapper doors, tried a search but nothing came up.they pop right out ,finding the rubber gasket might be hard.
