Well I know each guys car is his castle, but without sounding to up-ity, these were not necessarily considered rare collectibles.

I'm not sure "rare or collectible" come's into it, they're someones pride and joy that's been stolen. You comments come across as a bit flippant.

Autobarn, Burson, Repco and a lot of other smaller retailers stock it.

I just removed a bunch of posts. It was not relevant to the topic and just rehashed an old topic.

You're a good man Kurt, Jerry would be proud :)

Here is another example to compare to the one above for authenticity......to me both look genuine Jerry.

I've got(not sure I still have it) one of those, not worth the paper it's printed on.

Are the intake bolts that thread into the valve area sealed?

From the front of the engine:

Drivers side: 1st, 5th, 7th
Pass side: 2nd, 4th, 8th

All of these bolts are open into the inside of the engine, and if not sealed oil will creep through them.

How did you get on with the startup?

If you're running dual or triple valve springs, pull the inners out and reinstall after run in.

Do your own homework.......but I believe '67 intakes are lower than the later years. Might get you where you need to be.

Thanks for all the input and info about this car, i could share more about it but one of the members here went out of his way to locate it in an attempt to purchase even though i had interest in it. I learned from this that i should  not  be so revealing with the info about future finds. In the event that i wind up with it i plan to do a simple restoring just because i think it would be cool to have.

Give the Slippery Gypsy up.
