Would this be the correct assembly date?  Seems way too late.

Good job. I can only hope I see a thread like this for my engine someday. A few days away from your advertised block. N613111.

I second that!!!!!  Still looking for mine N624340.

Maybe one day!

Does anyone have any leads????

Hello,

This may not be the correct forum to list this but I am hoping that someone out there has the original block for my 1969 Z28.  It's a 03E X33 the VIN# 9N624XXX.  I will not give out the complete VIN# because I don't want any restamps!!  The block casting could be 3956618 or 3932388.   I bought this car from an individual in the Frankfort, IL area.  I don't know if it was there all it's life.  It was a previous race car so the drive train is missing!  Any help you may provide will be great.

I will also post this on the Camaros.net forum.   I know that a lot of the same people are there.  But it only takes one to have what I am looking for.

Thanks again,

Tom

Hi all
Ihave a x77 built first week of may.
I would like opinions, I have access to a late febuary dated complete 302.
Do you think that is to big of a time span or a resonable date.
Thank's for your opinion

What is the vin# stamped by the oil filter housing?

Thanks JohnZ,

The date on the center section is B 7 8 and the axle tube is BU 0313.  I was told that it was a March 69 3.73 posi rear.

Decoding/Numbers / 12 BOLT DATE CODES
March 22, 2006, 02:41:43 PM
Hello,

Does the date code on the axle tube need to the the same as the casting date on the carrier housing?  How far apart should they be?  I have a rear that has been rebuilt and I think the axle tubes have been replaced an restamped.

Thanks

Tom
