This photo was taken after the cowl hood was added not long before it was traded in at Scuncio.

This is the car today with one repaint and the original vinyl top.

It was bought new at Vernell Chevrolet in Tennessee. The original owner was in the Navy and ended up in Groton CT with the Camaro. He traded the Camaro in on a 1972 El Camino at Scuncio Chevrolet and Bob Johnson handed the car over to Steve Starre and Carl Roberts to run in his race team.

We're black stripes on a blue Z28 considered special paint? This Z28 has a - - on the cowl tag.

Joe is you're Yenko a factory big block car? 

 Back in the early 70's this 69. Z/28 was traded in to Scuncio Chevy. The window sticker was
still with the car and never removed from the glove box. It was bought and resold in 1975, the person that bought it in 1975 still has it.

Can some one tell me why the the black Yenko from Central has four emblems on the fender?  It just looks out of place.

Joe it looks like the hood has a scoop on it in this photo.

This car is Butternut Yellow 427, 4 speed, 4:10's and drum brakes. When recovered it was missing the engine trans, wheels and exhaust. This car did not have any Yenko emblems or decals. List price on the Yenko window sticker was $4995.

Central had seven Yenko's and this car was not the only one stolen off the lot.

The plate was just by chance it was not asked for. It was just the number they were on.
