I was looking at my car today and noticed a very faint X imprinted on the passenger side rear seat brace. The x looks to be yellowish in color. Does this have any meaning.
Assuming it's a Norwood car, in many cases the X-code was written on that brace in abbreviated form (X3, X7, etc.), even before the X-codes appeared on the cowl tag.
My car is a Norwood vehicle. It's a X22 code car. I really can't see any other letter or number next to the X. Could it only have a X on the brace.
My 69 Z/28 has "X7" on rear seat brace. Trim tag has X77 D80.
My 69 Z also has X7 on the rear seat brace, but I have a Nov 68 buillt car with out the X code on the trim tag.
During the restoration on my 69 RS Z28 (Norwood Car built 1st week of May), I found an "X3" on the bulk head brace and on the firewall along with other codes.
