I'm talking to a guy who say's he knows a guy with this engine.  We'll see.

Please note the block casting date if this engine is the "real deal".  Thanks in advance!    :)

Will do Paul.  I don't know if this is the real deal or not but I'm trying to find out.

I've been tracking 68 VINs for a while and this engine VIN doesn't appear to match the date. It should be a late July engine. Mine is 463155 and was assembled on June 24, 1968.
