Title: 1967 spiral shocks
Post by: 67conv6cyl on May 24, 2025, 06:28:08 PM
I bought these what I believed to be NOS shocks for my 67 just wanted opinions on weather the are indeed original GM. They appear to be in to good of condition and have really good resistance. I just need to know what the experts think. I realize people are able to add date codes on repo shocks and I was hoping I didn't get fooled.

I found a photo of a spiral shock from a 1967 Camaro posted on another website:

So does anybody have an idea if they are real or repos? They appear original to me however they also seem to be in to good of condition for old nos parts. If there are any experts that would now know the difference please chime in.

They're real as far as I can tell. On repops the spiral groove isn't as deep as those......Joe
