Title: Trim Tag Questio
Post by: Pacecar on May 11, 2025, 08:49:51 PM
How does this tag look. Lots of dum dum ver the rivets so it looks like it could have been taken off. Things don't seem to line up

I'm still learning, but I don't like it.

I know nothing, but it looks like pop rivets that are ground down flat.

I'd be skeptical if I was looking at a Z with that tag.. but let the experts weigh in.

Looks repro to me. The pad stamping is awful.

Car is on CL Henrietta, NY.

I would imagine that partial VIN should be by oil filter for 02A car amongst other things..

Tag is not typical for an original car.

I don't see any pics of the transmission or axle stampings.

It's not a bad looking car. But anyone interested should inspect very closely in person.

Here is the pad. Yikes.

Cowl tag is a reproduction and not original to the car
