Title: 69 starter solenoid wiring harness retainer
Post by: KurtS on March 02, 2025, 09:57:14 PM
Does anyone have a picture of the 69 starter solenoid wiring harness retainer installed?
Here's what it looks like pre-installation. :)

Thanks!

Bill pointed out there's a picture of Skip's car on the site: http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=12083.msg122963#msg122963

Big loop goes around the solenoid, but what's the little loop for?

It holds the 2 small wires that go to the solenoid...Joe

Looking at the retainer picture, from left to right.
There's a clip I assume is for the wiring. Then the large partial loop that attaches it to the solenoid. Lastly, the smaller complete loop that does nothing in either photo. ?

The smaller loop may just be for tension.

The only thing I could think of is that it keeps it from rotating. That loop also might just be heavy enough to keep the wires in place.....Joe
