Bought this 69 Z28 RS in 1993. Just finished total nut and bolt restoration on this original two tone dusk blue/glacier blue Z28.
Wanted to post some pictures as I haven't seen or heard of any other two tone 51/53 paint codes on any Camaro.
Let me know what you think and would like to confirm the rarity of the car. Was sold in Prince George, BC, now living in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Welcome aboard to the best 1st Gen Camaro website! Definitely a unique and beautiful color combination. Hopefully the moderators will merge your other post with this one. This car definitely deserves a thread all its own. Keep the pictures and info coming.

Welcome, that's fantastic! Would love to see more pics.
Still trying to figure out where/how to post in this discussion group.
I attached more pictures as only 1 seems to show up here.
Stan.
Wow, Love the Interesting Combo's
Welcome
Jim
That is really cool. I have never seen that combo.
When you think you've seen it all.............
Exceptional!
Very cool!
This must be Mike. Congrats on finishing the car!
I've posted before about the 2-tone colors.
The most common combos were the ones with painted white tops (86%). The blue on blue combos and gold on brown were each less than 5% of the totals.
We know of 4 2-tone Z28's - the other 3 are white tops. There are more out there, but not many....
This is Stan from Port Coquitlam.
I think everyone knows Mike though, lol.
Has anyone seen a color combo like this?
Stan.
Outstanding "Z" first and foremost, but the color combo, unreal. Though mine's is a BB SS, the bodies are kindred, 02D build dates. Great job SuperLuxfords, great car, know you are pleased with this beauty.
The GM list notes wide ratio 4 speed 2.52 first gear. Wonder what the rear gear ratio is ? Most Z,s are close ratio with 3.73 gears standard.
Yes, 373.
Ran across this post when looking for code 51 cars, as there is one in primer for sale near me (code 51 51). I would really like to see a high-quality photo of this car with proper lighting. I am sure it's even more beautiful than it looks here.
We don't have that great of photos yet as we just got it out on the road last fall. Hopefully spring we can get some good ones to post!
