Looks legit to me. Let experts weigh in. BU code in paperwork is incorrectly stated as 4.10 rather than 3.73. Might not be original trans.

'Exterior is reportedly 1 of just over 1,000 Z/28 Camaros ever produced in 1969, and only 1 of less than 175 that were manufactured with a Vinyl Top."
Huh?
Maybe they were referring to the color
666,123th Camaro built in 69 M.Y.
Huh?

Correct. I think I have one example of cast and assembled the same day.
Others can be several months apart.
Got to love disclaimer of the separated motor mount !
I just looked back at the pictures of the under side. Don,t think I have ever seen an oil pan damaged like that one. If it was in the car appears it would have gotten the bell housing, even the oil filter looks dented.
VIN 124379N666123
That's an easy vin to remember LOL
Here's an Olympic Gold Z for sale I've had in my files a long time, didn't think to date the image ::) Is it the same car ? different
tires, but that can happen.
Is there something different about the back up lights, hard to tell ?
Good catch Mike. Interesting for sure. It would be nice to see a better pic of the back.
The tail pipes look similar between both cars, but the one you posted has straight cut tips and the auction car looks like beveled tips. Could have been changed of course. Otherwise, they look like they could be the same car.
