As of January 1969, black became an extra-cost RPO color.
It's a repro tag for another reason.

In fact, black was initially an RPO color as of early '69 ordering info. It was later dropped, but the few early black cars that did get ordered/built had 10 10 paint codes.
Nope would have paint code. Had a February car that was ruff. But somebody else restored it.
