Title: Mystery Spring Washer
Post by: Bigfish45 on June 24, 2021, 08:44:23 AM
I'm getting ready to buy a reproduction reverse interlock bellcrank kit for my 69 Camaro 396 Muncie 4 speed car. One vendor shows a spring washer in their kit and one vendor doesn't. Neither can tell me on the phone where it goes. I have looked in the AIM and don't see the washer that is in the picture, red arrow. Can someone tell me where this washer goes on this assembly?

Typically a "wavey", Wave washer, is used to preload a bushing, with a fastener clamping  which is tightened (Nut & Bolt)  so as not to come loose yet allow the clevis or bushing to rotate. - Theory.

We need to look for  the "Stack" breakdown.
