Title: rear deck speakers come with trunk covers?

Did rear deck speakers come with jute/cardboard  covers in 1969 Camaros

I'm not sure I understand your question, but if you're referring to the package tray, it's just cardboard. No jute backing. If you're referring to the speakers themselves, they just attach to the bottom of the rear deck. Again, no jute.

I believe it was in the 70s or 80s that they started using those rear deck speakers covers (inside the trunk) with the insulation inside.  I think it was black hard cardboard used.

OH!! You mean THESE things (see below). Yes, 1973 was the first model year for these.

OK, thanks for everyone's input. I also thought, but wasn't sure that these started in the 70s.

My 1972 Monte Carlo had the covers.

1973 was the first model year for the CAMARO. I don't know about other models.
