Thank you everyone for your help when I asked if anyone from GM worked here since the Monument Company wanted permission from GM to use the picture of his car. Took 9 months, but a VP from GM wrote me a letter and the stone has been placed. Since several people wanted to see it when it was done.....here it is. Thank you all for your friendship to my Uncle, I know he loved it here in the forum.
Ronnie's Niece,
Tina C.
That looks great Tina, a very fitting tribute to your Uncle's passion for his Camaro. And congratulations for persisting with getting written permission!
Thank you!!
Amen & God bless your family.

Very nice Tina! Congrats on getting GM to cooperate. It is no easy feat to get major corporations to bend the rules.
Thank you everyone!
Mo, actually the hardest part was getting in touch with someone who could actually help me at GM. Once I explained everything to the VP, we started to then talk about mu uncle's two 67 Z28'S and his 71 454 SS Chevelle. I sent him pictures and he loved the cars. He was more than happy to send me over a letter. I actually received it that same day by email. There are still some good people in executive positions out there who truly understand the passion people have for these cars.
Tina, your uncle Ron was a good guy and had a passion for the cars like the rest of us here do. No doubt he would love the headstone and your efforts to get that done.
What a great tribute Tina and I'm confident Ronnie's looking down with a huge smile.
