Sorry to hear of Bud's passing. A very talented and exceptional person, as well as a decorated WWII veteran. My condolences to the family. He will be missed.

I really regret hearing this, I can only image the stories that gentleman must have had within him. A true resource of knowledge.

A genuine American hero. I believe five purple hearts and a couple bronze. And a racing genius.

Bud Moore was a hero on and off the track and I consider myself fortunate to have been able to to have met him at Riverside in 1969 while working on the movie Ford Flat out, and although I found his people skills to be somewhat lacking he was certainely one hell of a racer who left his mark on many forms of motorsports.
