I hope to see this one come out a garage... get it!
I don't think his old L78 was a 1/4 mile at a time, plus it was more like 10K miles, not 5K. Awesome car though. This one sounds neat too.
This car has not made the rounds. The current owner purchased it from the orig. owners family. Has never been out in view.
Update. The block is non orig. but correct. All orig. Int. except carpet,(faded not worn).
Had a look. Turns out to be very late production, Like 442 from last car. Orig. rear AQ code. Non match engine and trans. Drum brakes, Spotless body and interior. I believe milage to be correct. I think I have to have it. Pics tomorrow.
pics.
more pics.
that's a great looking car.... :)
Actually, the car was for sale back in Feb out of Hendersonville. Was advertised as matching #'s, but the pad showed otherwise.
Nicely done car. What's the rest of the axle code?
Hendersonville, NC, TN or ????
You are correct Kurt S . Block is re-stamped. Where did you see it for sale?
Rear stamp.
Love it! No spoilers! And look at how clean that undercarriage is!
Hendersonville NC. I saw the car for sale too. I believe it was CL but can't be positive. It was either CL or ebay.
Would this car have come with the K19 smog system? Sold new in GA.

Nope - only if it was delivered new in California.

was asking 45,000 here the link http://www.drillist.com/post/1967-L78-4spd-RS-SS-Camaro/1204
That link is very interesting. Owner claims to know nothing about it. Someone looked at the car when the owner was in FL for the winter.
Thanks for posting.

The orig. master is in a box.
Knows nothing about the ad?
So it wasn't really for sale? Baffling.
Just drove thru Historic Hendersonville today.....
Car was for sale. Someone looked at it and tried to broker a sale without the owner's consent. Car is now in my garage.
