The September 3rd, 1969 issue of National Speed Sport News featured an ad for the Larry Bock/LarryDrover 1968 Camaro
which was severely damaged at Donnybrooke two months earlier. Not surprisingly, no mention is made that the car had
been wrecked and repaired. Bock drove a Dodge Dart in the Nascar GT series while Drover made the repairs. They replaced
the '68 Camaro with a '69 model for the 1970 Trans-Am season.

The September 6th, 1969 issue of Competition Press & Autoweek featured an ad for the Firebird (ex-Penske Camaro) that
Jerry Titus wrecked at St Jovite a month earlier on August 1st. This was the Gagnon Spring sponsored car driven by Dick
Brown for Robert Gagnon. For some reason Dick Brown is the contact person in the ad even though it's Gagnon's car.
This is another case where no mention is made about an accident repair but the car has "new paint" as well as a new
engine and transmission since the previous engine and trans got swapped into the new '69 bodied replacement car.

Great stuff Jon.  Neat to see Jack Brady credited for these photos.

Rusty Jowett placed a for sale ad for his car in Competition Press & Autoweek after the Kent race.
The car was sold to Paul Nichter who ran the Trans-Am series with it for the following several years.

very cool pic of james garner with the sunoco camaro at sears point from the program for that event. this is mentioned in the donohue technical excellence at speed book on page 169. I wonder if garner actually drove the car ?
