The #3 Javelin of Ron Grable was one of the cars that was heavily damaged in the 8 car pile-up at St. Jovite.

Here's a photo personally taken by Mike Scott (group/7) back in 1969 at the St. Jovite/Mt. Tremblant Trans-Am race.
It shows Donohue's car after rolling off the scales, which is part of the tech inspection of each car prior to the race.
Many thanks to Mike for sharing this with us from his personal collection.

Some interesting Trans-Am news tidbits in the week following the Watkins Glen Trans-Am
including the news that Walt Hane was leaving his duty as the SCCA's chief tech inspector
to join the Titus-Godsall Firebird team as an administrative/technical head.

A photo of the Gerry Gregory Z/28 heading down through the famous corkscrew part of the Laguna Seca racetrack.
This was taken during a practice session due to the lack of decals that were seen on the car during the actual race.

Laguna Seca Trans-Am photos as found in the Sears Point program, courtesy of Robert Lodewyk.
Javelin returned to a two-car effort at Laguna Seca with Ron Grable staying in the #4 which he had driven at Watkins Glen.
Jerry Grant was brought in to replace John Martin but was put in Grable's old #3 car (which had been wrecked at St. Jovite).
