1969 Burnished brown Z/28's

I have a 1969 Burnished Brown Z/28. I was wondering if the math guru's could break the 2.5 percent and give me an estimate on how many Z/28's were this color?

I have only seen one camaro painted Burnish Brown ..I was very impressed with the color, even though it never sounded like it would look all that well...The one I saw had white interior.  The white interior defiantly worked well with the BB...What color is your interior.  .

Mike I have wondered the same thing as we now own a '69 BB Z. I never see this color at any local car shows in Canada, not sure how often they surface in the US.

Eddie, I think the car you are referring to is out of Virginia and owned by Foster, beautiful car with the white interior.

I like Foster's car with the Ivory interior also. Mine is a black std interior car.

So if there were 20302 69 Z/28 built and BB was used on maybe 2.5 %   whats a rough figure?

We have a very close friend that has a BB 69 Z/28. Its an X77 car he bought brand new in Virginia when he got out of the navy in mid-69 and went to work for another govt agency ( read spook) its your classic Z as its the base model, no frills non RS car,  flat hood, no spoiler etc. Only options are U17 and power steering with white interior. It was a true survivor with original exhaust system, suspension YH wheels, paint and interior but 3 years ago he had it repainted and new interior installed which I advised against but its not my car. He also removed the stock exhaust manifolds and smog equipment and installed headers but has all original parts stored away. He has all original paperwork including dealer invoice and POP. The emissions decal ( what is left of it) is on the top of the fan shroud? I'll try to shoot some pics to post here. Its a beautiful color and we park next to each other at the local Friday car cruises, everybody thinks we are twins except we have an X33 fathom green car but they look really great side by side!

Saw a real nice Burnished Brown Z28 at Ocean City Maryland this year, It is now my girlfriend's favorite color. I think it had white stripes.

Thats hilarious about the Green comment. I was driving into a car show about 3 weeks ago and it was overcast and I heard the guy say " here comes a green camaro". Then I heard people think it was Black also. The Sun really helps the true color.

Sonny, you are correct, it was Foster's Camry...I saw for the first time last year at the SCS in Petersburg Va. and again this year. Its an X77 I beleive.   I heard that its for sale if you know anyone looking..

I saw a BB Z28 here in Oklahoma about 20 years ago or more.  It had worn original paint.  I remember commenting on not seeing very many BB 69 Camaros.  He made the comment about maybe painting it another color.  I don't know what happened to it.   I do remember looking at the cowl tag and it was a real Z28 X33 or X77 and had the spoiler option code stamped also. 

Just my reminiscing.  I had a hugger orange SS RS at the time.
