What I thought would be a routine door skin replacement on my left door turned out to be a surprise once I removed the original skin and went to install the NOS one.
A spare L&R 67 NOS set I bought in the mid-80's and stored since then turned out to be a mis-matched set. The right skin is for a '67 but the left is for a '68 Camaro so that is useless to me.
Looking for a NOS panel on ebay averages $500. That's an expensive price to pay for a GM sticker on the inside.
Has anyone installed either a repo skin or a complete repo door assembly? If so I would love to hear your experiences on fit and quality.
I am looking at Dynacorn and they boast of superior repo parts but then most repo places do.
Thank you,
Mike
