Hey guys,

I have a question.  For a 69 Camaro with column shifter and no console, could you order a clock?  I am trying to decide if I should go with a Speedometer/Clock(center)/Fuel Gauge setup if it would be correct.  What about a Speedometer/Fuel Gauge (center)/Tachometer setup.  Which setup is correct?  Could you order a clock or a tach on a non-console car?

Thanks,

Steve

Yes, you could order a clock. In fact I have a cluster just like that.
I believe U16 tach became available right about the time your car was made.
Neither required a console.

So, the Speedometer/clock/Fuel could be had.  What about Speedometer/Fuel (center)/Tachometer?  I would rather try and keep the tach but if it wasn't an option, I will stay with the other setup.

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks for the info Kurt.  It looks like I can go either way with the gauge setup.  I really like the clock and it is handy, but the tach is cool too.  I suppose a Speedo/Clock/Tach setup wouldn't be practical.  I am sure when I get ready to install them, it will hit me as to which one I want to go with.

I'm on time, I should shift, I'm not going to get a ticket.

Oh, I'm out of gas......  Yeah, a fuel gauge is recommended.

My 69 has speedo, center fuel guage, and tach with no console. If it had a clock and tach there is no where for the fuel guage without the console. Also note that this setup has only temp and oil lights.

I have the speedo/fuel center/tach in mine and is perfect! I have like a clock in the iPhone! ;)
...I always cut the battery power when parking so a clock is useless for me anyway...

Kurt, my X44 is an 02D, was that combo I have available then?
