Hi Bob,

I took the linkage out of the car (probably the first time ever). Because of its length I couldn't get a good picture.
Attached are 4 images with the titles describing each one.
As for the finishes:
The tranny linkage bracket and 2 jam nuts looks to be zinc plated. You can see it clearly with some of the grime removed.
The union and threaded rod looks to be a dark phosphate.

Measurements:
The rod length before it starts to bend up is approximately 13 3/4" measuring from the threaded end to the bend.
The top view shows how the rod curves inward towards the shifter linkage in the car
From the threaded end to the opposite end is 16"
I still have it out of the car so if you need anymore measurements let me know.

WOW, good picture layout Mike, sorry I have not responded sooner.
Glad you sent the pictures as repo's do not look anything like your original or as the AIM shows.
The rod will not be a problem but the trans. arm is going to be another story.
Could you get some shots of the trans. arm with a measuring tape in background and hole size (should be 5/16")?
Did the shifter end of rod have 2 washers  as the AIM shows?
Really appreciate the help ;D

Hi Bob,

Check your gmail account. I sent several pictures and attached them in a zip file (CRG looks to have file limits) along with some other info you may find of interest.

I'll also be at a car show/swap meet this weekend and I'll keep an lookout for the linkage/bracket if you want. Send me your number and I'll call you if I come across something.
I can pick it up and send it to you.
