Just an update.  I won't be posting any pics. from this weekend, as I forgot and left my camera at my brothers.  Trunk is basically done. Gas Tank is done.  New Fuel line is done.  All new Brake Hardlines are done.  The Roofrail Channels are back in place, and the Roofrail Weatherstrips are installed.  And per previous post Windshield and Rear Window are back in.  Had a good weekend and got a lot done, my brother Russ and I work good together.

Here's a couple new pics. from this weekend.  The Radiator, Shroud, and Hoses are in place.  Also the Trans. cooler lines.  Note Z28 specific Breather tube in first pic..  I resurrected it, got it cheap it was "banged up" a little and the Plug Wire stand was cut off.  You probably won't see that often Z28 Breather tube and Auto Trans. dipstick together.LOL! This is actually the original 327 engine "dressed up" to look like a 302.  The Distributor, Spark Plugs, and Plug Wires are done.  I used MSD 8 mm Street Fire wires, look a lot like original, Black wires and Black boots.  Alternator (original to the car, completely rebuilt)is in place.

Heres the latest pics. of the car.  I got the Mag wheels on today, and new Tires on Rear.  And a shot of my new PYPES Exhaust system, not factory re-pop, but close.  Trying to stay close on originality.

Got the exhaust all up in place under the car, but had to order correct Hangers for in front of the axle.  The 2 they sent with the kit were generic, and probably could have been made to work, but I want it to look right.  Thanks to those that are following.

I'd be interested to hear what that exhaust sounds like.  What size are those pipes?

Got the Power Brake Booster, Master Cylinder, etc. all in place this afternoon. All lines are hooked up, naturally the last line gave me fits.  I did get some other stuff done mostly details. Tail-lights are in.  Did not get it "fired" yet.

OK, haven't been on here for few days because crunch time getting the car together and running.  Which it is, few minor issues as usual.  Have had it out and driving it, and got the front end aligned yesterday.  Lots of "gawkers" and nice comments.  Got over 200 miles on it now, and heading for 2 days of HOT ROD POWER Tour.  The 2 days here in Illinois.  68Zproject>>>>, it is pretty loud, a little louder than I would really like.  But I guess I can live with it.

There's no such thing as too loud.  My neighbor isn't a car guy and always "comments" (complains) about my noisy car.  I always say "that's nothing, wait til I get the mufflers off".

Here is a link to PYPES sound clips site;    http://www.pypesexhaust.com/sounds-gm-fbody.html
go there and check out the 2.5 in. Crossflow section, I sent you a video of mine by personal e-mail, but I think these are better.   I am getting lots of positive comments on the sound.  Hope this helps you decide.
