67 power steering bracket help

I can't seem to find these parts anyware the part #'s are 3891598, 3838446, 3843346 they brackets and a alternator pulley for a 67 can any body help?

You may have to call around to the used parts houses.  I've used this one with success in finding odd parts, I think Bob is the owner:

There are also a few others - one in Oklahoma that sells on eBay and a site called camaroland that I've never heard any word on.  Google for used camaro parts then start calling.  Steve's Camaro in CA may be able to help as well.  Also, go over to the Team Camaro site and under the steering section ask if anyone has leads.  There's sometimes guys swapping out a six to a big block etc.  Also if you see someone trying to sell a complete original engine assembly on eBay try asking if they'd be willing to sell components.  Those parts may have also been used on Novas etc.

3843346 is the alt. fan. 3871253 is the pulley unless you have AC (RPO C60) then you will need 3850156.

The original alternator pulley has what looks like the fan connected to it. The car did not have power steering from factory, does part# 3871253 include fan? This is a very very original unrestored low mileage car with some odd options  (for a six) so I would like to use the right parts with out permanently altering anything.

Let's back up a bit.
Are you adding power steering to your 6 cyl? If you are you will have to alter allot of things.

Yes I am adding it, I bought all the other parts needed such as pump with pulley, water pump pulley, power steering gear box, hoses & pump cradle. I just need the bracket that holds cradle to the block, pump to alternator bracket & two grove alternator pulley  all the parts I bought where off another 67  6 cyl and are correct for my car. For some reason the owner before me ordered this car new  with a power top but no power steering.  I am saving all the original parts because this car is so original.

I would suggest you purchase a 67 Assembly Instruction Manual if you do not have one. It has several pages of info. on the RPO N40 6cly. including the small hardware you will need. On N40 A4 in the AIM it shows #6 3843348 fan, #7 3871253 2 groove pullley and #8 3790337 2 groove crank pullley you will need.
If you have a printer you can Email the used part supplier's and get better responses with your inquires.

Thanks Bob, I have that manual that's were I found the part #s that I listed, did I list the wrong ones? The Assembly manual I have is 25 years old however the part #s should be the same. Paul

Paul,
If you are looking for #2, #11 on N40 A2 and #6,#7 on N40 A4 then they are correct.
The AIM is just a reprint and unfortunately no one is in charge of updating it when mistakes are found, so they are all the same.
Does your harmonic balancer ( crank pulley) have one or two grooves in it ?
Some good information on pulleys can be found on the CRG report list.

Bob, the harmonic balancer has 2 grooves. It is the factory original.

So you are saying that one of the grooves was not used in the original installation?

Yes thats right one groove was not used , (page 260) of the AIM this is a 250 six car.  230 six cars (page 209) I belive have single groove

Thanks for the heads up on the 230 single groove harmonic balancer ( C60 C1).
Does your 2 groove harmonic balancer have a part number on it ??

It does however I can't see it, the part #  is on engine side of harmonic balancer

If you ever have a reason to remove the balancer please add the number to this thread.
You can find pulley listings if you click on the red CRG logo at the top of the page and then engine, pulleys and 67 pulleys. Looks like the L6 listing needs to be updated as it is not broken down far enough for the L26 230.
