Hey all. I am trying to track down my old Camaro that I stupidly sold about 8 years ago. I am in Alabama and I sold it to a guy in Wisconsin. After a couple years of looking, I have finally yesterday found the VIN. I did a search of NMVTIS and it shows the car was titled in Wisconsin in 2003, which matches when/where I sold the car to, so this confirmed I have the correct VIN. It shows now to be titled in South Carolina and title was issued end of July, 2009. But the site would not give me any identifying information.
1967 Camaro
VIN 124377N195014
It is a 67 Camaro RS/SS
Tahoe Turquoise with white bumblebee stripe
Black Deluxe Interior
L35 396/325 hp
Muncie M20 4 speed
12 bolt posi
Front Disc brakes
Console Gauges
I was the 2nd owner of the car and sold it with about 85k miles
Not original engine, but rest of drivetrain was original.
Not a show car, but VERY nice driver. Had a couple non-stock touches, but nothing serious -
I decoded the trim tag before I bought it and it was the real deal. Only thing I couldn't confirm from the tag was the console gages.
Anyway, again, any help at all will be greatly appreciated. I really have a lot of attachment to this car and really want to get it back. Any of you South Carolina guys (or other nearby states) seen this car around?
Here is a pic of it at a car show a couple years before I sold it.
